There are at least 5-10 more clone sets I want to have to try out for specific/niche uses that this change now really opens up the possibility of doing easily. Jump clones are a great way to get a second base of operations in EVE Online which can be a safe harbor under a wardeck. I've seen this feedback here a few times since this change, but the only thing I want now is another skill that allows for even more jump clones. (I also realized that if you combine this with swapping to an empty clone then self-destructing back to your home station, you can essentially get a free jump per day.) When you start to focus and train level 5 skills it’s worth optimizing your attributes for that career path but once you burn your bonus remaps you can only change attributes once a year. Then at the end I can switch back to a +5 attribute clone and not feel like I am missing out on skill points. Or for something completely different, being able to switch to a PVE or resource-oriented cloned allows me to do PVE stuffs more often when I would usually prioritize that last during my playtime. 3) The game substracts by reducing the level any given skill is trained to it may reduce it partway, resulting in a suddenly partially-trained skill. Being able to switch to a specialized pirate implant set allows me to then do specific content I would usually have to devote a play session for. However, ALL jump clones regardless of which 'instance' you are in or where you are, will feed into the same medical clone - including location and skillpoints kept. I am finding that on most days I play EVE this has effectively doubled how long I play: Being able to swap to an empty clone allows me to go pvp or roam null without needing to dedicate an entire session for an empty clone. I know something similar was allowed in player structures before, but this change has completely revamped how I play EVE as most of my clones are in 2 NPC stations and impacted me WAY more often than I expected it would. It isn't news to many but CCP recently made a quality of life change allowing players to swap clones if they are in the same NPC station, and regardless of jump clone timer.
